He is considered to be one of the greatest football players still living.

Matthews holds the unique title of being the first British football player ever to be knighted while still playing the game. He played for incredibly long time, well into his 50’s, and was awarded with many titles such as European Footballer of the Year. He was known for having incredible speed on the field, which helped him outsmart his opponents on the field.

Gareth Bale

Bale is one of the most popular footballers currently in the game. He is from Wales and is a member of the Welsh national team, but plays for Real Madrid in Spain as his club team. He is a winger who has quickly become a very high scorer due to his aggressive kicks, and he has lead Real Madrid to win the Champions League twice.
